Seek and Destroy 01 update

Hi guys again

this is an update on the seek n destroy first WIP.

I decided to make my destruction zone a bit more controlled , so I just picked a part of the wall and made that the destruction area, I like the sim I did now, controled the pieces nice
the simulation was more efficient by just calculating gravity on the pieces that really need it.

I might need to split the geo a bit more, to have smaller pieces.
now that I solved the grouping by velocity stuff, here's the scene file
some might find it useful, although is actually very simple to set up.

Seek and Destroy

Hello

This is the first of hopefully many projects of destruction in Houdini.

I'll start with this simple rock wall, a big rock will come and smash the wall.

I done with the modeling and I think the first simulation is good, but might tweak it a little more.













This is what I have so far.


still need to finish the simulation, texture, render and composite.

I'll be posting the finished files and the finished movie when I'm done, so wish me luck.
